Start ‘em & Sit ‘em Week 3
The Seattle Seahawks host their second straight Top Tier NFC team this week and will look for a repeat performance against the Packers on Monday Night. The team as a whole was great last week but in terms of Fantasy there are still only a couple of legitimate starting options.
Let’s take a look at who should fare well this week and who could help you secure a Fantasy win in Week 3.
Seahawks Fantasy Forecast for Week 3
QB Russell Wilson
30 yards rushing, 180 yards passing, 1 touchdown
This is about what Wilson has averaged and what can be expected going forward – unspectacular Fantasy-wise but decent as a game manager. If the Packers get a big lead these numbers could inflate but I don’t expect the Pack to get up big in this one. Russell Wilson is not start-worthy in Fantasy!
RB Marshawn Lynch
100 yards rushing, 1 touchdown, 1 catch, 10 yards
The Packers have been so-so versus the run over the past couple of seasons and the Hawks know where their meal ticket lies. Beast Mode is coming off an incredible game last week and momentum should carry him toward another one this week. Start Marshawn Lynch with confidence this week!
WR Sidney Rice
4 catches, 50 yards
Sidney Rice hasn’t done a whole lot and as long as Seattle remains a run first, run second and run third offense, there is not a lot of expectations for Rice! He needs to be benched in the world of Fantasy unless you are a gambling man.
WR Golden Tate
4 catches, 50 yards (max)
Golden Tate is $21,000 lighter in the wallet, and he’s already pretty quick, I’m just not sure if all this lightness makes a big difference Monday though.
Clik here to view.

With his TD vs. the Cowboys McCoy looks like Wilson’s favorite option in the passing game right now
WR Doug Baldwin
3 catches, 30 yards
ditto for Doug Baldwin! But hey, at least he’s got new teeth.
TE Anthony McCoy
3 catches, 30 yards, 1 touchdown
He may be a risk but if stuck he could be an option. He looks like Wilson’s favorite option in the passing game right now and the Packers have surrendered a score to Tight Ends in both games this year.
TE Zach Miller
2 catches, 20 yards
The Tight Ends have fared well against Green Bay this year but Zach Miller is the second Tight End option. There are only so many balls to go around making Miller Bench material.
PK Steven Hauschka
1 FG 2 XP
Defense S/T
2 sacks, 1 forced fumble, 1 interception
This unit has been top notch this season but going against Green bay is certainly a risk.
What works in their favor is the insane crowd noise that should take the Packers out of their game plan. They are a borderline start this week in Fantasy.
